Forum Rules (REVISED - 6/24/09)
These are the Forum Rules:
1. Post with the topic.
Be sure to post with the topic. If people didn't post with the topic, the forums would be very confusing.
2. No inappropriate language.
Keep all language in the forums clean. We don't want to have to ban someone from the forums because of a single word.
3. Show respect.
All of the people on the forums have feelings. Please respect them.
4. Keep your password a secret.
Do not reveal your password to anyone. Always remember to keep your password a secret.
5. Do not reveal personal information.
Please do not reveal any personal information. This includes other people's personal information.
6. No advertising.
Do not advertise any other websites, etc. ONLY advertise your own site in the "Website Advertising" section. That IS why I added it.
7. No spamming.
Spamming is extremely annoying to everyone, so please don't do it. This includes consecutive posting. Once you post, do not post again in that same topic until someone else does the same. There are very few exceptions to this (ex: Roleplaying). In addition, try to post completely. Do not just post a single word all of the time. This gets annoying, and is sort of a cheap way to get more posts.
8. HAVE FUN!!!
These forums were made so people can relax and have fun. Please enjoy yourself at the forums.
ABOUT THE WARNING LEVELS
Here is how the warning levels work. Let's say you break a rule. Your warning level will go down, and you will most likely be notified of this (in case you don't notice). This is a warning; it helps to let you know that you have been breaking the rules and it needs to stop. If it continues, the warning level drops again. At this point, your moderator status will be lost (if you had a moderator status). If it still continues, it drops again. At this point, you should really be careful. If it STILL continues, the bar empties, and you are banned.
Just as you can lower your warning level, you can also raise it. Raising the warning level is very difficult, and takes time. Here are a few ways that you can raise it:
1. Do not break the Forum Rules.
2. Find a way to help people avoid breaking the rules (ex: create a topic).
3. Stay on topic.
4. Remain an active member of the forums.
Of course, there are other things you could do. Just avoid breaking the rules, and you won't have to worry about it. Enjoy the forums!
